Taking the top spot in IndyBest’s review of the best laptops, Apple’s MacBook air M4 was praised by tech writer Sean Cameron. “The MacBook air remains Apple’s most popular laptop for a reason. Dubbed the best budget laptop by tech critic Sean Cameron, the Acer Chromebook plus 514 has more than £100 off when you buy it refurbished at Back Market. Dell is offering nearly 30 per cent off certain models for Cyber Monday. We previously listed the Dell 15 on sale, which is now sold out, but thankfully you can still get an impressive £230 off the subsequent model, the Dell 16. In his review of a similar model in the range, the Dell Inspiron 15, tech critic Steve Hogarty called the laptop « well-built » and the performance « great » for the price. « It’s capable of handling most everyday tasks and juggling dozens of open browser tabs without sputtering to a halt, » he said.
When do Black Friday sales end?
Black Friday sales run from Black Friday itself (28 November) throughout the entire weekend and end on Cyber Monday (1 December).
What is the difference between Black Friday and Cyber Monday?
Nowadays, there’s not a huge difference between the two sale events, as the Black Friday deals tend to carry on into Cyber Monday. In the past, Cyber Monday was reserved for online offers, but Black Friday discounts now run in stores and online, too. You can sometimes find heftier savings on tech products on Cyber Monday but that’s not always the case.
How I chose the best Black Friday and Cyber Monday laptop deals
When searching for the best laptop deals this Black Friday, I checked across all the major retailers, including Argos, Amazon, Currys, John Lewis and more. The deals above are the best prices available from trusted retailers, and when multiple stores were offering the same price, I included the one which had better perks, such as free delivery or a longer warranty.
However, not all deals are as good as they first seem, which is why I use price tracking websites like PriceRunner, PriceSpy and Camelcamelcamel to make sure that the discounts I feature are as good as they look.
